The Bridge Project launches on September 6, 2023 in Bloomington-Normal. Fifty-three aspiring principals who are all educators of color and women educators will join 12 school districts and state/national representatives in launching the network. This year, we will work collaboratively with Illinois ROE Lead Hubs, the Bridge Project prepares already-certified educators for the principalship and provides induction support in their first year. The project also works with districts, regions to improve access and strengthen the principal pipelines.
